Tula Skincare

When I first heard of Tula I was very intrigued by the Probiotic Technology it has. The Probiotics in dairy actives help protect the skin from environmental damage, reinforce the skins immune system and helps to naturally balance the skin. Some of my all time favorite products are from the line so I thought I would quickly brush over them. Firstly you have the Illuminating Face Serum which is a light creamy texture. It sinks right into the skin, adds a beautiful glow and helps reduce dark spots. It helps improve skin texture, skins appearance, and deeply hydrates, making it perfect for drier skin types like mine. I have also been loving the Revitalizing Eye Cream, it's the best all rounder eye cream I have tried. Eye cream is something I always struggle with, either it's not hydrating enough or it's hydrating but doesn't help my dark circles. This Tula eye cream hydrates, plumps fine lines, de-puffs and helps brighten dark circles, it really does it all. Lastly I love, love the Exfoliating Treatment Mask, it exfoliates without stripping the skin. The milky blue mask is creamy to apply and offers chemical and physical exfoliating. It rids all the gunk from your skin leaving a soft smooth texture while hydrating with little beads full of jojoba oil. This is the product I recommend to absolutely anyone and everyone, it is just perfect. I actually have a whole post written on it HERE if you would like to read. Tula skincare is available at QVC and Tulaforlife.com. Love...

The New True Match

While I was in England I picked up the new reformulated version of L'Oreal's True Match Foundation. I have always been a big fan of True Match foundation, in fact it is one of my favorites from the drugstore but I love the new formulation even more. Coming in a plethora of shades it is certainly the most available foundation on the drugstore shelves. It has a good medium to full coverage yet still looks semi-natural on the skin. The old formulation had a natural to satin finish and could get a little caked up if you weren't careful, this new formula has a more glowing youthful finish and blendable oils making it a smoother application. The finish is dewyer which some may not like but I personally love. If you look at the bottle in the sunlight it almost looks like it has micro shimmer in it but once applied to the skin you don't see this at all. Talking of that bottle, I really do love the new packaging and built in pump, very chic. All in all I can safely say this reformulation is a success in my book. It remains to be seen if this new True Match will rolled out here in the States but I do hope so. Love...

Tom Ford Fall 2015

Tom Ford Beauty just screams excitement to me and I always feel a little giddy when a new collection is released. Now an obvious statement is that it is not cheap... But if you want to spend some of your hard earned beauty penny's on something incredibly luxurious and equally beautiful then Tom Ford is the place to go. I have three items here from their Fall 2015 collection and I can say already they are all rather amazing. Brows are an area where naturally I am quite well endowed (not always a good thing, I was that kid with thick eyebrows when skinny brows were in) but I do still like to give them a little shape and fill my sparse areas (far and few let me tell you). The Brow Sculpting Kit that comes in two shades contains two colored powders and a clear wax, along with a mini brow brush and angled brush for touch up's on the go. Although it does only come in two different shades the duo of colors in the palette are warm and cool meaning you can mix them to get your perfect brow shade. I have Medium and I like using the darker color in my tails and lighter and the beginning of the brow. The wax is also great for holding the color and brows in place without making them feel crispy of stiff. The most beautiful items from the collection have to be the Ombre Eye and Cheek Shadow's, I have the shade Pink Ombre and it is just the most beautiful blush. These are designed to add color to the face and lids, applying blush lightly over my eyes is actually something I have always done so for me this is a great idea. The ombre design of it means you can wear the light color, darkest or mix it all together for a pink pop of color. Lastly I have the Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Sugar Pink, and the formula on this is just beyond amazing. It is the most hi-shine lip gloss I own and it's just so darn beautiful, so much so that I get very excited about wearing it (I know I have a sad beauty filled life). It doesn't feel sticky or heavy on the lips and the pigmentation is just right in my opinion, not to colorful but adds a nice hint of pink. The texture of it is almost a little gel like but it also feels nice and creamy. It lasts for a good amount of time on the lips and that hi-shine sure does stick around. I really do think there is something for every beauty lover in the collection and if you feel up for treating yourself then I can't I can't think of anything better. Love...

A Winter Bronzer

Being the shade of Casper the Friendly Ghost I am using a bronzer in the winter isn't always easy. Things just end up looking muddy, or too dark, and just weird, but without it a dose of color I really do look dead. The Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer is the perfect winter shade if you are as close to white as can be like me. I love that it's matte because I do think the shimmered bronzers should be left for the summer months; the matte finish just makes things look a little more natural. Applied to just the perimeter of the face, and a little on the nose adds some much needed warmth and glow. Oh and did I mention this smells like chocolate? I mean what's not to love. A light matte bronzer in beautiful packaging with a wonderful scent. It get's my stamp of approval. Love...

It Cosmetics Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Lipsticks

I am not going to go on about my love for It Cosmetics again but let's just say I love them... Like really love them. Their latest lip release is the new and shiny Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Lipsticks and of course they are just as lovely as the rest of the line. Coming in nine different shades the Blurred Lines Lipsticks are correcting, hydrating and erase the look of fine lip lines. Infused with Collagen, Jojoba Oil, Peptides, Shea Butter, and Hyaluronic Filling Spheres all which even lip tone, add a huge dose of hydration and smooth the appearance of lip lines. All of the shades have a glossy/hydrated finish to them which make them feel very comfortable on the lips but the do vary in pigment amount, for instance the shade It Girl a beautiful true red is high in pigment and looks amazing on the lips, while the shade Brave a darker red is a lot sheerer making it a perfect natural red shade. Another favorite shade of mine is Love, a very pretty natural pink an almost 'my lips but better' shade. Live is also another favorite, a berry toned pink that is incredibly creamy and just a general joy to wear. The nine shades also come in a variety of finishes from creme's to a little shimmery, like the shade Believe a slightly metallic berry color. I love that they are different to most other lipstick in the fact the really focus on lip care and appearance, lip lines are certainly something that ages you and can make you lips look dry, with this formula you can kiss them goodbye; literally. Coming in at $24 each I would say they are certainly worth their price tag, if you want something that's hydrating, adds a does of color, shine, and fill those pesky lip lines then these are the lipsticks for you. Love..

The Toner Serum Hybrid?

The new Boscia Sake Treatment Water is kind of a weird one. When I think 'treatment water' I think some fancy mist that really doesn't do much other than feel good on the skin, but this, this is something else. A little like a toner in the fact it balances the skin and is packed full of vitamins, but also serum like in the fact it brightens the skin like nothing else, helps prevent hyperpigmentation and deeply hydrates the skin. It has the consistency and look of a micellar water and feels very cool and refreshing to apply to the skin. It's meant to be used after cleansing and before serum, just like a toner. You dispense one or two pumps into your palms and then gently press into the skin. I find the results with this really are instant, which can be rare when it comes to skincare. As soon as it's applied your skin looks instantly brighter and more healthy with the feeling of deep hydration. It also helps all your serums, moisturizers, and oils soak in better after application. I think to most it might seem like an added step into your skin routine that's unnecessary, but if you deal with dull, uneven, dehydrated skin it's something you certainly would benefit from. I know my morning routine isn't going to be without it. Love...

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks

I just seem to fall in love with everything Charlotte Tilbury come out with, and the Matte Revolutions Lipsticks are no exception. I am not massively into matte formulas as I can find them quite drying, and even though you can get some non drying versions I just don't find them very comfortable. Gloss and balmy textures are just my thing, but I love the look of mattes so I am always on the hunt to find the perfect lipstick. Well it's safe to say I think I have found it, the Matte Revolution Lipsticks feel light and creamy on the lips while having a matte but luminous non drying finish. They last all day and unlike most matte lipsticks don't dry down meaning you can still feel the creaminess at the end of the day. The shade Very Victoria* is one I was unsure of suiting me but in fact I really love it. It's described as a taupe nude inspired by Victoria Beckham, and it really reminds me of MAC Velvet Teddy although a little more pink/plummy in tone. I find the shade is a really nice darker nude that doesn't wash me out, my perfect, better version of Velvet Teddy. Love Liberty is a lovely rose toned berry, inspired by Liberty Ross and so perfect for this time of year. It's more red in tone than what I usually go for but I love it. Again the formula is amazing and looked great even when I wore it on dry chapped lips (eww). The last shade I have is Bond Girl which as you can imagine is inspired by the ultimate Bond Gil such as Halle Berry, and I know they all look very similar but I promise you they are not. This shade is a rosy plum and a lot less bold than Love Liberty. I think it's a great way to go down the berry alley without going full on bold, it's kind of a autumnal my lips but better shade. I also secretly love it even more because really James Bond is my dream and if I could be a Bond Girl I would die, hard out James Bond fan here. If you're not a fan of matte formula's I am pretty sure these lipsticks will change your mind forever. Love...

Deborah Lippmann UNDRESSED Collection

Deborah Lippmann's nail sets are some of the best, not to mention a great way to try her amazing formula and colors without committing to full sized bottles. The new UNDRESSED collection is a limited edition set of six all new nude shades. Nude is such a basic nail color and one I believe everyone needs in their collection. Depending on the shade it can be seasonal or look just really natural and polished. There's every nude shade imaginable in this set from off white to caramel nude. The off white shade is Flesh For Fantasy a really pretty light creamy nude, very pale but nice if you don't want straight up white tipex/whiteout looking nails. The next shade in the set is Totally Nude, a pink pale nude that is perfect for spring and summer. Born This Way is a peachy light nude that again is perfect for the spring months, it's also the most unique nude shade I have ever seen. I think Bare It All is my favorite shade out of the pack, it's a very pretty plumy grey nude (wow descriptive) and is perfect for this time of year. Natural Woman is a caramel nude that is a perfect nude for darker skin tones or a nice autumnal caramel color on lighter skin tones. Lastly you have Skin Deep which is a deep brown nude which again would be a lovely nude shade for darker skin tones or a pretty brown on lighter tones, I love this one paired with a gold glitter; very fall like. If nude nails are your thing then it's pretty safe to say you need this set in your life, and not to mention what a great holiday gift it would make. Love...

NARS Steven Klein Collection

The new NARS Steven Klein Collection is beyond beautiful, colorful and exciting. I am a huge fan of the Dual Intensity Blushes and Vengeful is everything in your fall dreams. The red brick shade is the perfect fall blush while the pale gold highlight looks stunning on the cheek bones. It has some glitter to it which means it's quite intense but I love that for the evenings, and it will be perfect for the holidays. They can be worn wet for a skin like finish or dry for maximum pigment intensity. The other item I have from the collection is the Killer Shine Lip Gloss in the shade Fast Life. These glosses are new to NARS and have vinyl formula with a high shine finish. The shade Fast Life is a pretty berry pink that is perfect for this time of year, the gloss has some shimmer in it which I am usually not a fan of but it's subtler than I thought and just adds a nice shine to the lips. The don't feel sticky or heavy and last really nicely on the lips, the only down side for me is the brush applicator; I am more of a doe foot girl myself. The collection as a whole is unique and full of some fun but wearable colors and a bunch of new formulas, the Killer Shine Lipsticks are next on my to buy list. Love...

Kat Burki Skincare

I love trying new skincare brands, especially ones I haven't heard of before so when I came across Kat Burki on Space NK I was very intrigued. The brand really focuses on whats good for your skin and filling their skincare with the best possible ingredients to help repair and protect skin. Facial mists are my addiction so it was only natural that I was driven to the Balancing Elixir like a moth to a flame. I love using this as a toner or to fresh up my skin throughout the day, it comes in three different varieties and I have the Rose Peony (because why wouldn't I?). It is packed full with vitamins and antioxidants making it like green juice for your skin, in fact it has 30x the vitamin C in one orange, hello glowing skin. Also with ingredients like lavender hydrosols and cold pressed premium oils it calms, soothes, and hydrates the skin. The end result is a plumped, brightened, tightened, more youthful glow. If you have been round these parts before you would've heard me bang on and on about my terrible dark circles so I was very excited to give the KB5 Eye Recovery Masks a go. They claim to refresh tired eyes, depuff, soothe, and best of all lighten under eye darkness. The pre moistened pads feel very cooling under the and very luxurious indeed, the perfect at home spa treatment. Filled with hyaluronic acid and a KB5 complex (lavender, chamomile, arnica ect.) they deeply hydrate the under eyes, fill fine lines, and certainly do reduce darkness. The perfect post flight or hangover treat. I just love rose hip oil, and if you can get a good quality one it really can be a lifesaver, so naturally the Rose Hip Revitalizing Serum caught my eye. It balances and brightens while supporting the skins natural defenses and collagen integrity with the high quality cold pressed rose hip oil. It's a little different in the fact you have to warm it up in your hands to activate the vitamin c complex, this turns the gel in to a emulsion making it very hydrating to apply to the face. I have found since using this my skin tone has improved as well as keeping it deeply hydrated and balanced. The matching Rose Hip Intense Recovery Eye Serum is just a delight to use. It feel light weight around they eye while also feeling very creamy and hydrating. It has the same vitamin c complex which helps brighten and depuff the under eye while the anti-aging formula fills fine lines and evens skin tone.

Perfect Skin? Yes please! Kat Burki certainly gets my seal of approval. Love...

Autumn is my favorite season and I love a berry lip just as much as the next person. In fact lips really are my thing, a simple eye look and bold wine lip has me set for the season. I am going to be sharing some of my favorites but if lips aren't your thing, this post is in collaboration with the lovely Aymie from Aymielouise.blogspot.com and she is going to be talking about her favorite eye products for autumn.

Antica Farmacista Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer awareness month and it's something that is very close to the co-founder of Antica Farmacista's heart, and my own. You will know if you have been round these parts before that I am a huge fan of Antica Farmacista, their soaps, fragrances, candles, and diffusers are just beautiful. All month long 100% of the profits from the sale of the Peonia, Gardenia & Rosa products will go to Gilda's Club, a special organization that supports cancer survivors and their families. Susanne Pruitt, Antica's co-founder is a Breast Cancer survivor and found great support in Gilda's Club and now she is encouraging all of us to give back, and rightly so. The heady notes of Peony (my favorite), Rose and Gardenia mix with notes of Rosewood and Citrus make the scent very soft and romantic which I love. I have the diffuser in my hallway right now and it smells wonderful. It is rather feminine but it also has a freshness to it making it a perfect welcoming scent. There is no better time that now to treat yourself to a new home scent, especially as you will be benefiting others too. Love...

Layering Statement Necklaces

Statement necklaces have to be one of my favorite things and this Stella & Dot Zuni Layering Necklace is just beautiful. It is so versatile, and can be worn in so many different ways. With the gold chains long or short, the statement Howlite piece detaches so that can also be worn alone long or short and all three can be worn together for a perfect statement layering balance. I think the natural colors are perfect for Fall and it just looks great over a wine colored sweater. The gold has an antique-y feel to it, which I love as it looks a little lived in and I think it really complements the natural Howlite stones. As you would expect from Stella & Dot the quality of the piece is beyond excellent and you really get your money's worth, being able to wear it in so many ways. It's like having four necklaces in one. For a classic statement look I love wearing the Howlite stone necklace short by its self or if I fancy something more delicate the two chains look perfect alone. Wearing all three together with the Howlite stone necklace on its long length is a really nice way to add some bulk to the delicate chains and keeping the Howlite necklace short adds in that cute but natural looking statement. I love that it's just gold and cream, as it's so easy to pair with any outfit. Don't get me wrong I love my bright fun statement necklaces to jazz up an out fit but this just looks really good with everything. It perfectly balances my love for statement and delicate jewelry. Love...

Drugstore Dupes

You can't always afford to splurge on that brand new highlighter you want, or that beautiful lipstick you saw in Sephora. This is where the drugstore comes in, you can get great formulas and colors for a fraction of that high end price tag. I was clearing out my makeup collection and realized I have a ton of drugstore dupes color and formula wise so why not share a few of the best one with you. Hint: A lot of Colourpop Cosmetics is featured!

Becca Moonstone Highlighter and Colourpop Lunch Money Highlighter- These two shades are practically identical and formulation wise pretty similar too. Although the Becca one is a powder it's very creamy so feels very like the Colourpop cream to powder version. Moonstone is a little more intense in pigment but Lunch Money can be built up to look exactly the same.

MAC Paradisco Eye Shadow and Colourpop Shark Attack Super Shock Shadow- Run on this dupe as I believe Shark attack is on it's way out from Colourpop. Formulation wise these two are very different but color wise identical. So if you're after that peachy eye shadow but don't want to splurge on the MAC version Colourpop have you covered, if you're quick...

MAC Cranberry Eye Shadow and Sleek Pomegranate Blush- Ok so one is a blush one is a shadow not much of a dupe you may think, but you think wrong. Formulation and color wise these two are identical, a rich red, berry, rusty color, perfect for fall.

La Prairie Flamme Lipstick and Maybelline Vibrant Mandarin- These two orange tones reds are two peas in a pod when it comes to color. The La Prairie version is more hydrating and longer lasting but if you want a simple color dupe then Vibrant Mandarin is it.

MAC Velvet Teddy Matte Lipstick and Colourpop Oh Snap Matte Lippie Stix- Velvet Teddy is a classic MAC shade but this Clourpop dupe is its twin formulation and color wise, Velvet Teddy could be a tad darker but really nothing noticeable. I don't think it's a shade that suits everyone (for instance it drains me a little) so getting the more affordable version may not be a bad idea.

NARS Rikugien Satin Lip Pencil and Glo Minerals Heirloom Cream Glaze Crayon- So Glo Minerals isn't exactly drugstore prices but it's still a good chunk cheaper than NARS. Rikugien and Heirloom are identical in color with Heirloom just being a little more glossy in finish. The dusty rose berry color is perfect for this time of year.

Let me know the best dupes you have found below. Love...

My MAC Palette

I have spent the past few months building my perfect MAC Palette so today I thought I would share it with you. I personally love seeing what shades everyone picks to fill theirs so I thought this might be interesting. MAC do a ton of eye shadows, meaning you can make a palette that is totally you. The formulations of most shadows by MAC are amazing but like any brand they do have a few duffs so make sure you do your research first. In fact there are so many shades that I want I am starting another palette as we speak.  I won't be swatching my chosen shades, but there are a shed load of swatches online so just google the shade names. So starting with the top row I have Vanilla, Shroom, All That Glitters, Wedge, and Patina. Vanilla and Shroom are the two highlight shades I have in this palette, Vanilla is a satin so it's a really natural highlight while Shroom is a little more golden and shimmery making it more dramatic. All That Glitters is one of my favorite eye shadows ever, it's a pale rose gold shade that just looks simply beautiful all over the lid for an easy eye look or if you're darker it makes a great highlight. Wedge is a matte nice neutral to cool crease shade that pairs perfectly with Patina. I was never quite sure about Patina but I took the plunge and ordered it online. It turns out I love it, it'a a light brown with golden shimmer in it and almost a very slight green tinge, it looks great on my hazel eyes. On the second row we have Cork, Bronze, Swiss Chocolate, Sable, and Cranberry. Cork is a beautiful warm crease color, and one I use a lot! Bronze looks beautiful all over the lid and can make the most perfect bronze smokey eye. Swiss Chocolate is a red toned matte brown which looks great in the crease with the next shade along; Sable, is a rusty toned shimmery brown that is perfect for Autumn. Lastly in this row I have Cranberry which is pretty colorful for me, it's a cranberry color as you would expect. It has some shimmer to it and is intensely pigmented but you can wear it as as wash of color or full on all over the lid for a perfect Fall look. On the last row I have Paradisco, Texture, Haux, Star Violet and Nocturnelle. Paradisco is another hit of color in there with it being a peachy pink shade. With it being a frost it isn't as bright as it looks in the pan but it is rather a subtle peachy shade that is perfect for the summer months, I really love this shade and it certainly doesn't get enough recognition. Texture is like an beefed up version of Cork, very warm and almost a little orange. I love this all over the lid with just a lick of mascara for a really interesting eye look. Haux is a rosy brown that pairs with purple perfectly. All over the lid or in the crease it's a twist on that classic neutral. Star Violet is a stunning shade! A highly pigmented pink purple with a ton of shimmer it makes a real statement. I only got this shade recently so haven't experimented with it too much but it certainly is love at first swatch. Lastly we have Nocturnelle which is a deep purple. Although it's a frost it has great pigmentation to it and looks beautiful paired with Haux or a light champagne shade for a purple pop to the eyes.

So there you have it my pretty much perfect MAC palette. I feel like I am missing some darker shades so leave your favorites down below for me please, also any other shades you think I need in my new palette. Love...

Diana Ralys Skincare

First of all I want to apologize for the lack of posts this week, I have had a horrible cold and been away, but am getting back on track today. I have been testing out a couple of skincare items from Diana Ralys over the past couple of months and thought I would share my thoughts on them today. Diana specializes in skin health, mainly facials and has created a natural and organic skincare line that is 100% made in America. The Specialty Blend Oil is a a beautiful mix of Organic Argon oil, Prickly Pear seed oil, Cranberry seed oil, and Neroli Essential oil. Many worry about essential oils irritating the skin but I find this really gentle and hydrating. It smells wonderful and feels light weight on the skin while deeply hydrating it. I featured the Jojoba Exfoliant in my A Mask for Everyone & Anyone post and it is a really great exfoliant mask hybrid. I am not usually a fan of physical exfoliant's but I really love this as it doesn't feel to harsh on the skin. In fact it really is rather gentle and hydrating, making it perfect for sensitive or delicate skin. I call it a mask hybrid down to the fact that you apply it and leave it on for five minuets and then gently exfoliate your skin using circular motions. You're left with soft supple skin that's not stripped of moisture whatsoever.

Do you go Organic or natural when it comes to skincare? Love...

The In-Flight Skincare Routine

As I am away right now and have just done a long haul flight I thought I would share with you what I use in my in-flight skincare routine. Thinking about your skin on a long haul flight may be the last thing you do think of but it is really important to take care of it. The air pressure and conditioning really drys out your skin which is a problem in it's self if you already have dry skin like me. If you have combination or oily skin too it can be a pain, your skin gets dry which in tern means your oily skin produces more oil and eventually it will break you out. To stop this take some steps from your every day skincare routine on board. My little carry on is obviously tailored to my skin but just take items from you everyday skincare to make your perfect little in-flight kit. First I like to take some makeup wipes of some sort, I would normally say stay away from wipes at all costs as they can be striping but they are the most convenient way to remove makeup (which you need to do as that will only dry you out more) and any impurities. These ones from Neutrogena are for sensitive skin and contain no alcohol so aren't to bad for your skin. Normally I wouldn't bother about using a toner on a flight but I have been loving this Boscia Sake Treatment Water which is almost a toner, serum hybrid. It adds a really nice glow to the skin and a hit of hydration. Next put in your favorite serum, right now I have been loving the Kat Burki Rose Hip Revitalizing Serum, it is really hydrating, but more on that and the rest of the line soon. Next you need a good eye cream that's going to hydrate but also diminish dark circles, because no one ever looks good after a red eye flight. I have been loving the Kat Burki Rose Hip Intensive Recovery Eye Serum so it seemed perfect to take with me. Lastly pack your favorite moisturizer, I have this mini Murad Hydro-Dynamic Moisturizer which happens to be my favorite for dry skin. Happy skin travels, and make sure all of your liquids are under the 100ml/3floz limit. Love...

A Mask For Everyone & Anyone

Masks have to be my favorite skincare item. They take me back to a time when I was little and I begged my mum to buy those little sachets in the supermarkets of bright pink or sludgy grey 'treatment masks'. Now that I think about it they were probably full of nastiness and bad for you ingredients. Masks to me just feel a little indulgent, you put them on and can sit back relax even for just five minuets. They are also a great treatment for your skin giving a real boost and special treatment. Today I thought I would share a few of my favorites by category, and trust me there will be one in here for you and every skin concern.

Exfoliating &Masks- Being a dry skinned girl I like to skip the clay masks and go straight for the more exfoliating version to clear up any uneven skin, blemishes, and congestion in the skin. My favorite has to be the Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask, I have spoken about this time and time again. I just love it so much, it exfoliates without striping the skin, rids every little blackhead and makes your skin feel like a baby's you no where. The Diana Ralys Jojoba Exfoliant is a scrub come mask, and perfect for sensitive skin. It has the texture of a scrub but you leave it on the skin for up to five minuets, making it a mask in my book. It is grainy but great for sensitive and dry skin because of the jojoba beads which burst and hydrate the skin. One thing to bear in mind is that this contains essential oils, so if your prone to breakouts it may be one to avoid. If a peel is more of your thing when it comes to exfoliating then the REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial could be for you (Read full review HERE). Another favorite peel of mine is the Skin Inc Pure Revival Peel, again this is more of a treatment than mask but, hey who cares. You simply apply wait a few moments and remove, it clears all dead skin cells and leaves you with fresh 'new' skin.

Brightening Masks- Glowing skin is healthy looking skin and you can get that perfect complexion with a brightening mask. The Osea White Algae Mask brightens and hydrates making it a great one for dry skin. While the Boscia Luminizing Black Peeling Mask brightens while ridding congestion in the skin. This one is incredibly black making it look a little scary but you apply it, leave it on till it's dry, usually at least 30 minuets and then peel it of. It removes all of your impurities and you can kind of see it happening which is strangely rather satisfying.

Hydrating Masks- Having dehydrated skin a moisturizing mask is one of my favorites. The La Prairie Luxe Sleep Mask is a hydrating, anti-aging, plumping, and brightening mask. It is incredibly luxurious and makes your skin feel amazing and helps promote long term firmness and hydration. It's a real luxe treat for the skin and I love using it when I am having a real pamper. A cheaper alternative is the Origins Drink-Up Intensive Overnight Mask, this is similar but not as rich feeling. It's great at hydrating and banishing dry and dull skin but doesn't have the anti-aging or plumping properties like the La Prairie one. For more of a gel formula I love the Eve Lom Moisture Mask, it feels very light on the skin but deeply hydrates and never feels sticky or heavy. Another great gel formula is the Skin Inc Pure Deep Sea Hydrating Mask. This is a little less hydrating than the Eve Lom version but I love using it after the matching peel to hit a bit of moisture back into the skin.

What are your favorite masks? Let me know in the comments. Love...

September Favorites 2015

Can you believe it's this time again? September seemed to fly by and one minuet it was still like summer and now it's finally beginning to cool down. I have a mixture of makeup and skincare for this  month and it's a good bunch of solid favorites. A side note before I begin, I am in England right now so any drugstore recommendations you have send them my way.... You can expect some reviews to come and maybe a haul?

Burberry Kisses Lipstick in Rose Blush- The word obsessed doesn't even begin to cover my love for this lipstick. I have worn this most days over the past month and it's just a perfect hydrating berry color. It's more of a rose berry than a purple berry but it just looks beautiful on and wears really well without drying, while in fact hydrating. I love the formula of these and have a ton of shades on my 'to buy' list.

Givenchy Teint Couture Balm, Blurring Foundation Balm- This base is just all the heart eyes emojis! I am not going to go into it to much as I plan on doing a full review, but it is just beautiful on the skin. It's not as dewy in finish as I usually go for but it is still very glow-y making it perfect for more of a combination skin type. When it says it's a blurring balm it doesn't lie, it literally looks like someone has airbrushed your skin. It's not to high in coverage, medium at most but it's just perfect for everyday. As it's a balm it is quite thick so it applies really well with fingers.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer- I am quite pale so once autumn comes bronzer isn't usually in my makeup routine, but I feel like my skin was lacking something and needed that shape and warmth bronzer gives. A lot in my collection are too dark or shimmery so I decided a new purchase was needed. I haven't tried much from Too Faced but the light color and finish of this bronzer will make it perfect all fall and winter long. I love it, it adds definition and warmth to the face without actually making it look bronzed. I now want to try more from Too Faced, recommendations please!

Hakuhodo + Sephora Pro Otsubu Large Tear Drop Brush- This brush form the Hakuhodo collaboration with Sephora Pro is a thing of dreams. It's so soft, so soft in fact I am stroking my face with it as I type. It's the perfect shape for bronzer, powder, highlighter, blush and subtle contouring. I love it for bronzer the most, it fits perfectly into that three shape and blends out product beautifully. I love it so much that I am contemplating buying another before the limited collection vanishes. I have a full overview of the whole collection HERE is you would like to read more.

REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial- An exfoliating, hydrating, skin perfecting over night treatment, yes please! I can be lazy about using exfoliating masks and washing of mud treatments so this one from REN is perfect. I have quite sensitive skin that glycolic acid can irritate easily but this is so gentle meaning you can use it a few times a week. If you like the sound of this then read my full review on it HERE.

La Prairie Cellular Swiss Ice Crystal Dry Oil- Ahhhhh, this stuff is sent from the gods I swear. It really is perfect skin in a bottle. It feels incredibly luxurious and melts into the skin super quickly. I love using this as part of my evening skincare routine and I always wake up the next day with near perfect skin. It's hydrated, glowing, has little redness and just looks all round amazing! I will be writing a full review up on this so stick around to hear more...

Banana Republic Wishbone Necklace- This necklace is so darn adorable, it's very dainty and goes with everything. It looks beautiful layered or by its self. I have been really into rose gold recently and this has only extended my love for it. Even though I got it a few months ago it's still online if it catches your eye.

I hope you have had an amazing September, what have your favorites been? Love...

Makeup Mists

Setting Sprays and Makeup Mists are an essential in every beauty lovers stash I think. They can prime, set, finish, and fix. I have a few favorites all for different purposes so thought I would share my favorite four today. The Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist* is a great finishing mist if you want that glowing complexion. This hydrating spray can be sprayed onto the skin any time really, but it works perfectly to hydrate the skin before make up application and as a finishing spray to settle powders and leave a hydrated dewy finish. Probably more appropriate for the dry to combo skinned of you but boy this spray leaves a beautiful finish. MAC Fix+ has to be the most versatile of all makeup sprays, it can literally be used in 101 different ways. You can use it before makeup application, as a finishing/setting spray, to wet brushes, to loosen thick consistency's, such as concealers and to use eye shadows wet. It's hydrating on the skin but not as much as the Tatcha so it's a better option for all skin types. When I think of Fix+ I think of the first spray really out there, I remember when I was younger going crazy over wanting a bottle; it's now something that will forever be in my collection. Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray is that "I need my makeup to last forever" kind of product. A cult favorite, it's to be used after makeup application to set everything down and lock in your make up even in the most hot and humid conditions. It's something I would recommend any serious makeup wearer to have. Lastly we have a priming spray from Skindinavia* (Fun Fact Skindinavia also make the Urban Decay All Nighter!). This one is to be applied before make in place of a cream or silicone primer. It's a great way to prime without changing the texture of your natural skin therefore keeping your foundation it's intended finish. I have the original but they make one for oily skin too so everyone is covered. I do think it lengthens the wear time of your makeup and it leaves no residue on the skin what so ever. You can get 10% off now at skindinavia.com as well as two free minis and free shipping with the code SKINPRO1.

What's your favorite makeup spray? Love...
