The It Cosmetics Eye Products That Will Make You Swoon

If you saw my review on the It Cosmtics CC+ Cream then you will already know my love for the brand. Everything I have tried just seems to be faultless and used on a daily basis. The Tightline mascara liner hybrid is something that I don't think any other brands do and it is a real treasure. The tiny bristled long brush fills in any sparse lashes by laying down pigment along the lashline, it also adds a fair bit of length meaning you can wear it alone for natural lashes or underneath another mascara as a primer. It also has a peptide serum that strengthens and lengthens lashes the more you wear it. I was a little skeptical about this but I can honestly say I think my lashes have really grown and become thicker. I found myself looking at them without mascara the other day and if they had been darker they would've looked like they had mascara on. The Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer is now a holy grail item in my collection. If you have been around these parts before then you may know I suffer from some seriously dark circles I have tried a plethora of concealers over my time and this is by far my favorite for the under eye area. It is highly pigmented and creamy really covering up dark shadows but it is also really hydrating so it doesn't cling to any dry patches or dry out the under eye. It can crease if not set with powder, but as long as it is no creasing occurs. If you want some beautiful products that really work then It Cosmetics is the place to go.

I would love to hear you're It recommendations, leave them in the comments. Love...

Sun Safe With Soleil Toujours

Taking care of your skin is so important, especially when it comes to sun exposure. Even on cloudy winter days the sun's rays can be doing damage to you're skin. Wearing SPF broad spectrum protection year round is essential. Obviously you can lower the SPF value come winter but it is especially important to be wearing at least SPF 30 and above in summer. Protecting your skin from the sun will not only stop the obvious burning, it also greatly reduces your risk of getting sun damage, skin cancer, and premature ageing. A physical sunblock is always best to protect from the sun in my opinion and it is less likely to irritate your skin like chemical sunscreen can. Soleil Toujours uses natural and organic ingredients creating sun care products that are incredibly effective in UVA and UVB protection but don't compromise on that luxury feeling. Unlike many sunblocks containing a physical SPF such as Zinc Oxide the Soleil Toujours Mineral Based Sunscreen Mist Broad Spectrum SPF 50 doesn't leave any white cast or chalky look/feeling to the skin. The mist sprays on white letting you see where you have applied making sure you get the most protection possible. Once applied it completely soaks in and leaves every skin colour looking flawless and glowing. Everything in the line is Hypoallergenic, Gluten Free, Vegan, Paraben Free, and has No Synthetic Colors or Fragrances. As well as being a highly effective SPF 50 the Sunscreen Mist provides hydrating benefits for the skin leaving you feeling soft and supple. A SPF of 50 is going to give you pretty good protection, something like 97% but that still isn't going to be fool proof. Make sure you re apply at least every couple of hours or after getting wet, and stay out of the sun as much as possible.

For a beach perfect skin the Soleil Toujours Apres Soleil All Natural Exotic Shimmer Body Oil adds a beautiful glow and bronze shimmer to the skin. It is intensely hydrating and smells amazing! It has Rosehip, Argan, and Pomegranate oil which treats the skin and gives it that 'glow'. The tiny bronzed shimmer also adds a hit of color leaving the skin looking radiant. A huge bonus is that it isn't Phototoxic which means you can wear it over sunscreen in full exposure of the sun without any worry for the oils damaging your skin.

How do you stay safe in the sun? Love...

Keeping The Summer Glow

Can you believe it's almost September? While I love Fall it does mean the end of Summer, aka the end of that golden tan you have developed. Today I am going to give you my tips on keeping that glow just a little longer.

Exfoliating makes all the difference especially when you have a naturally dark tan. Eventually you skin will begin to peel (ewww gross) and you will loose the golden goddess look. Keeping exfoliated will leave your skin not only softer but less patchy. I have started dry brushing with the Mio Dry Brush lately and not only is it great for boosting your body's circulation and reducing cellulite it also leaves you with baby soft skin. Simply use three times a week wet or dry (dry is my preferred but it can feel a little rough) and your skin will hold onto that tan just a little longer. If brushing is not you're thing then a good in shower scrub will do it. Sugar or salt it's up to you but I have been loving the Me! Bath Toasted Coconut and Lime sugar scrub. It smells like heaven and isn't too harsh but does give enough grit at the same time. Moisturizing is also really important make sure you are applying your body lotions an oils daily. For something that smells amazing and feels very luxurious try the Mio Activist

If you're tan has gone and you want to replenish it then fake tanning is the way to go. I am personally a big fan of St Tropez. The tanning mousse is what I use when I want a full on quick tan but if you want something a little lighter then you can't go wrong with the gradual tan. The gradual tan is so simple to use, simply apply with a mit or your hands every day and you will give you tan a little boost as it fades.

So Fall isn't all bad, I feel ready to say goodbye to Summer for another year. Bring on the heady scents, candles, and everything cinnamon. Love...

Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist

Dewy skin is my thing, I love some glow and my dry skin loves it too. I have already written about Tatcha's Discovery Kit featuring some of their best skincare items. Today I am talking about the much coveted Dewy Skin Mist. I can't quite get to grips with this, is it a setting spray, is it skincare? Maybe both? After some experimenting my favorite way to use it is as a setting spray over makeup, it settles all of the powders down and adds a lovely dewy sheen to the skin. It feels very hydrating which my dry skin loves and it helps reduce the appearance of any dry patches I did have. Unlike a lot of other sprays it is an emulsion of red algae and squalane which really hydrate and add luminosity to the skin. So, do I prefer it to my other 'setting sprays'? I feel like it's more versatile than most sprays, it can be used before makeup, after, and as a skin care additive. I really like that is is a emulsion over a traditional clear 'water' like spray as I think it does feel more hydrating and light. Do I think you need it? Maybe, if like me you have really dry skin or you find your powders don't settle well then it could be perfect for you. I can see it especially being great in the cold Winter months I use it on a daily basis so I guess I like it, I am not sure I can say 'love it' yet though.

Have you tired the Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist? Love...

Deborah Lippmann Fall 2015 Roar Collection

I am so excited about Fall!! It could be my favorite season, especially around where I live. The trees go such a beautiful color, and we have so many of them it just looks like a red sea. I love wearing berry lips and nails as well as wearing cooler tones and 'greige's' (that's grey beige's to the uneducated like me all of five minuets ago). The new Deborah Lippmann Fall Collection is Fall basically bottled, with three creme shades and one stunning full coverage glitter. As with all Deborah Lippmann polishes they are intensely pigmented and last for yonks on the nails without chipping or fading. The most neutral shade in the fall collection is She Wolf, a creme taupe nude or a 'greige' as I like to call it. A perfect nude for fall, I think the cool tones really suit the season. Respect is a traditional brick red, again it is a creme formula and intensely pigmented. So pigmented in fact that if in a hurry you could get away with one coat. Bright red's don't really suit my skintone so this red with a bit of a 'brown' or 'earthy' tone looks much better. Plus it is basically that magical Autumn leaf color. Miss Independent could be my favorite of the creme finishes in this range. It is a wine berry purple and is that classic Fall shade. I feel a little repetitive here but again it is beautifully full coverage and it last's on the nails like nobody's business. The last shade in the collection I think is going to be a firm favorite. Can't Be Tamed is a intense honey/bronze glitter. Within two coats you have a full coverage glitter that is quite frankly AMAZING!! I am so in love with this and it is going to be on my nails in rotation. Deborah's Summer collection (which you can read about HERE) had some 'out there' shades for the season that ironically I think are perfect for Fall but I am so glad this collection is sticking to more traditional roots.

What Fall colors do you lust over? Love...

The In-Flight Essentials, Short Haul

It's summer holiday time and I am going away tomorrow in fact, so I thought I would share with you my carry on bag. I am only flying shot haul so there won't be too much on the skincare front but I will be heading back to England next month so keep an eye out for my long haul in flight skincare post.

I am the sort of person who gets bored very easily and I always like to be doing something so I always like to take my laptop. There is no better place to write blog posts that a few thousand feet up in the air. I also like to take a few magazines, whether it's an Allure issue I take with me or something I grab at the airport. Headphones is a must, these are from Bose.I have been loving Ed Sheeran and Hoziers albums right now and I am half way through The Girl On The Train audio book, no spoilers please! When it comes to my liquids I tend to travel pretty light in short haul down to me not worrying about doing proper skincare on the plane so I just have some Lip Balm, this one is from REN and it's in a tube which is great because you don't want to put your dirty fingers into any jars or pots. I also like to take my little Argan Oil mainly because I am scared if it leaking but it is also nice to hydrate the cuticles mid flight. I also have a little tube of First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream as it's really good for any dry patches and hands. I also like to take my fragrance cary on to freshen up and to prevent leaking. On this trip I am taking Jo Malone's Wood Sage & Sea Salt. My Serum is also packed in here because I am again scared of it leaking (paranoid), but it is the NUDE Advanced Renewal Serum. I am totally in love with this serum and will have a full review up in the next couple of weeks. Lastly I have this adorable mini of the YSL Tint Oil Stain in Cherie my Cherry. It's really moisturizing and is a really pretty pink color. Other makeup wise I like to take along a powder to set any oily-ness and to add any coverage where needed. Lastly I will usually take a book and my blogging planner, because a bloggers work is never done. Of course I also have all the not worth saying stuff such as tickets, reservations, money, passport, ect.

What are you're carry on essentials? Let me know in the comments. Love...

Vacation Makeup Bag

So as a sequel to yesterdays travelling post today I will be lightly brushing over my vacation makeup bag. I won't go into detail about everything as that would make this post incredibly long but I will go over a few of my favorite items. Again Like yesterday, a quick disclaimer that I love beauty so I don't pack light. This may seem like a lot of makeup but it's my hobby and love playing around with it even on vacation. If you want to know what bag I am using then go to yesterdays post which covered my Vacation Skincare as I am packing all in one.

In the large clear zip pouch I have all of my makeup, from eyeshadow to lipstick everything is in there. Then this case has a really useful brush pocket and a flap to protect all of you're brushes. In there I have my Bobbi Brown Full Coverage face Brush for my foundation, some MAC eye brushes, and then a collection of Zoeva Brushes as well as my beloved beautyblender, the only thing that is missing is my powder brush as I will be taking that in my handbag with me for touch up's during the day. Makeup wise I will be taking my new Stila Soul palette, a MAC quad with All That Glitters, Paradisco, Texture, and Vanilla. Also for the eyes I have nude and brown Lorac liners and the Kat Von D Tattoo liner in brown as well as a Charlotte Tilbury cream shadow in Mona Lisa. For the lips I have some Colourpop Lippie Stix in BYOB a bright sheer pink, Heart On a bold matte magenta, Safari a orange, and Crunch a light peach. I also have Clinique's Nude Pop for a nude lip option and a couple Marc Jacobs lip glosses in Pretty Thing and Pink Flamingo, a nude and pale pink. Base wise I have Charlotte Tilbury's Light Wonder Foundation, Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer, and Jouer's Luminizing Tint. I have a thing for blush and am taking 5 (I know I have a problem), a Stila watercolor blush, a Kjaer Weis Cream Blush, as well as a couple from Tarte and NARS. To sculpt the face I am sticking with the trusty NARS Laguna Bronzer and Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder. Lastly some individual lashes might sneak in to use in the evenings.

I hope you have enjoyed taking a little peek into my makeup bag. What are you holiday makeup must haves? Leave them in the comments below. Love...

Skincare While Travelling

I am off on vacation/holiday this coming week and as I am packing I thought I would share with you how I pack and what I am taking. today we are going to tackle skincare, then tomorrow makeup and finally on Monday my carry on bag. I will apologize in advance if this bores you but I personally love reading posts like this so I thought why not share. I also think it's a great way to see what products I really do love and that are part of my routine.

A quick disclaimer, I do not travel light. I never have done and never will do. Makeup and beauty is my thing (if you hadn't already guessed) so I tend to go a little OTT in this department. I will take more beauty products and less clothes, it's just my thing.

To pack everything together I am using this Sonia Kashuk Ferm Weekender. I am not a huge fan of the print but it was the best one they had in Target. I haven't used it before so I can't comment on how good it's actually going to be but it's quite big so I can fit my makeup, skincare and haircare all in it, which is great because I usually end up taking about five different bags.

So let's begin with cleansing, I am taking three which may seem a little excessive but they do all have a purpose. I have my Eve Lom Cleansing Balm to remove makeup and for evening cleanses, a Murad Gel Cleanser for the mornings and the Simple Micellar Water for a quick before dinner cleanse and to remove eye makeup. Then my serum isn't actually in this as it's in a glass bottle and I am scared it will break so it's coming carry on with me, but it is the NUDE Advanced Renewal Serum. Then for moisturizer I have these mini's of my favorite night cream that the team at Murad very kindly sent me. For the day I am taking my Origins GinZing Moisturizer, it's light but hydrating so perfect for hot weather. SPF wise I have the Murad Essential-C day moisture SPF 30.  I've got my Kheils creamy eye treatment because my under eyes have been a dry, dry place recently. Then I have depot-ted my favorite mask, the Tula Exfoliating mask as well as Skin Inc's Revival Peel in this travel sized tube and I have a spray bottle of a tea tree dilute in case I get any breakouts. Lastly I have some muslin cloths, cotton buds and cotton rounds.

The two clear pouches are removable which is really handy because that means you can keep your makeup in the bag while removing you skincare into the bathroom. Everything fit's into the bag well and because the sides are soft you can fit just about anything in. I will let you know my final thoughts on the bag when I get back, maybe in my monthly favorites. Love...

It Cosmetics CC+ Cream

Everyone and their dog seem to be talking about the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream recently, and for good reason. I am pretty new to It Cosmetics but from what I have tried so far I think I can say it's a pretty amazing brand, but more on that another day. Today I am going to be talking you through the CC+ cream. If you have been round these parts before then you may hazard a guess that I love a good light to medium dewy base, and well this is just that. It is supposed to be a full coverage CC cream with anti-aging benefits and a SPF of 50 all in one. I have the shade 'light' and it's still a little dark for me so I feel like I can't build it up to it's full potential to really test it out as being full coverage without mixing it with anything to lighten the shade. When I have fake tanned I will get back to you on that. Right now I can just about get away with it if I blend it down my neck and only use a small amount. Considering the small amount of product I used, it gave great coverage and looked really natural, I did the magnified mirror test and up close it still looked like real perfected skin. I am suffering from quite a few dry patches right now and it didn't overly cling, in fact it is proven to boosts skin moisture up to 79% with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid. I think you can apply this with your fingers or a brush but my favorite way is with the It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection brush, It's quick thick in texture but not as thick as the Chanel CC cream. It has a really nice glow-y finish but isn't wet looking or oily at all. I think it is best suited for dry, normal, or combination skin, so if you re oily it may be one to avoid. It has an SPF of 50 which is amazing for a makeup product I think; it's this and it being a CC cream that makes it me think it is a great cheaper alternative to the Chanel CC Cream (don't tell anyone I may even prefer it). The SPF is a physical one so great for those who are sensitive to chemical SPF or just prefer a physical block. Overall I can say I really like it, it looks like real skin but with a perfected finish. It has just the right amount of glow but isn't overly dewy and the SPF is a real added bonus. The only downside, maybe the shade but I think trying 'fair' maybe on the books.

What are your feelings on CC creams? Love...

Tatcha Skincare

The more and more I get into beauty the more I really focus on looking after my skin. After all you can have great beautiful makeup products but the only thing that is really going to make your skin look and feel amazing is a great skincare routine. I feel like I started looking after my skin from a young age and I hate to brag but I do think it has paid off. I'm lucky to say it's rare to see a breakout around these parts and my skin may be dry but I can keep it in pretty good condition by hydrating it too the max. When it comes to skincare I think it really is a path of trial and error to find what works for you, but as I have promised I will do a whole post all about skincare and what you should/shouldn't be doing one day.

Tatcha is a luxury Japanese skincare brand that is inspired by Geisha beauty rituals. Every product is made with the thought of having good quality and safe ingredients in mind. I have been using few Asian skincare brands of late so was very interested in giving Tatcha a go. Over the past couple of weeks I have been trialing their Ritual Discovery Kit for Sensitive Skin, which includes their Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, Indigo Soothing Rice Enzyme Powder, Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum, and Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream. They do these sets for every skin type so you can get a complete skincare set for your skin whether it's oily or dry. They come in the most beautiful packaging and would make amazing gifts or are perfect for traveling. The whole set has a very luxe feel to it and all of the products feel very nice and luxurious to use.

I love cleansing oils to remove my makeup and cleanse my skin at night, but some do require a second cleanse afterwards due to ingredients such as mineral oil. The Camellia Cleansing Oil is a one step cleanse and removes makeup and all impurities in one cleanse. Unlike a lot of other oil cleansers it isn't too oily either, now that might sound strange to say but it isn't as slippery as other oil cleansers. It removes makeup really well, even waterproof mascara and doesn't irritate the eye area. The Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum adds luminosity and hydration to the skin. Packed with one of my favorite skincare ingredients Hyaluronic Acid, it delivers intense hydration and with 23-karat gold it adds a very real glow to the skin. It is a little tacky when applied but as soon as you put the moisturizer on top it sinks in. Speaking of the Indigo Soothing Triple Recovery Cream, it is a rich and soothing cream that I really like to use in the evenings. It kind of smells like soy sauce and it is blue in color, but when you put it onto the skin it melts in a feels very soothing and hydrating. The last piece in the set is the Indigo Rice Enzyme Powder, which is a water activated enzyme powder. You simply take a half teaspoon amount in your wet hands and use it as scrub on your face. This Indigo one in the sensitive kit is so gentle it can even be used as a morning cleanser. It gently exfoliates and reveals glowing clean skin.

You can buy the sets from Tatcha.com now for $59. If your looking to try a new skincare range or a gift for someone in your life then this is a perfect option. Love...

Laura Geller Beauty

Laura Geller Beauty
Laura Geller Baked Beauty
I am assuming that you know by now my love for makeup; it breaks all barriers. What can I say it's an addictive hobby and one I won't be stopping anytime soon. So per my makeup habits, trying out new makeup could potentially be one of the more exciting things in my life. Recently I have been into trying out brands I have never really tried before (wow that's a lot of 'tries') and one of those brands happens to be Laura Geller.  Laura Geller is famous for her Spackle primer collection and her baked cosmetics made in Italy. One of Laura's Spackle primers I have been trying is the Bronzed version. I am a lover of the fake tan especially in summer, but I don't like to do my face so something that is going to temporally give some warmth and color is good in my book. It feels really light on the skin and adds just a little bit of color so it never looks muddy or orange. It is meant to be a 'primer' but I have actually used it over makeup and it gives a really subtle bronze glow. When I think of Laura Geller their iconic Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey comes to mind. I see it adorned on tons of cheekbones all over Instagram and it is simple stunning. It's very golden in tone and perfect for summer, but buyer be aware this stuff is intense but addictively beautiful! The Baked Gelato Swirl Blush in the shade Cantaloupe is a really pretty peachy coral. It has a satin finish and adds a nice peachy glow to the cheeks; perfect for summer. Lastly I have been using the StyleLash Intense Lengthening Mascara, for me this feels like a real throw back, it's rare now days with new mascaras to find fiber brushes and not plastic ones so it was pretty refreshing to go back to my old days. For me this is a pretty standard mascara, it does everything you want it to. Of course lengthen as the name would suggest, but also add a fair bit of volume and separation to the lashes. A winner in my book.

Have you tried Laura Geller? Love..

Glo-Minerals Cream Glaze Crayons

These beautiful Cream Glaze Crayons come in some beautiful colors with a shiny glossy finish. The hi-shine intense color has great staying power for a glossy crayon formula. With vitamins C and E as well as mango oil, and shea butter they condition and hydrate the lips. The sticks aren't twist up which means no breaking and they do have a built in sharpener which means no scrambling about to find one. They feel comfortable on the lips so are great for lipstick haters, and because they are in pencil form you can also get a nice clean line which is really important especially with the brighter colors. I was under the impression they may be a little sheer but boy was I wrong, they are packed full of pigment and glide on the lips with ease, no need to layer to get a bold finish. The shade Mimosa is a really pretty coal pink, sadly it doesn't suit my skin tone so I have donated it to my mum and she loves it. If you like warm toned pinks and want a neutral lip that isn't nude then this could be a great one for you. Heirloom really reminds me of MAC Syrup, it is a plumy nude pink that will be perfect for fall. Almost a 'my lips but better' sort of color with a bit of umph. Jestset is a bold tomato orange red that is perfect for any bold lip love out there. I normally am not hugely into bold glossy lips but the tomato color of the red is perfect with a glazed finish. To get a super clean line and perfect pout make sure the pencil is sharpened well. If you're looking for a light lip formula that also has great pigment then these are for you.

What are your favorite Glo-Minerals products? Love...

Kjaer Weis Organic Makeup

Kjaer Weis is a organic makeup company that doesn't compromise when it comes to being luxurious. When you think of organic makeup I'm sure your not envisioning sleek, heavy packaging or beautiful cream products full of pigmentation. Yeah me either. Surprisingly though Kjaer Weis gives you just that. They take the guess work out of what is good and what is bad for you skin by simply leaving out all of the bad stuff. All of their products are made from the most luxurious organic ingredients with packaging that is to die for and the best part is that you can buy refills so it's environmentally friendly too.

Kjaer Weis Foundation- this beautiful cream formula glides onto the skin and somehow covers everything without looking like your putting any product on. It's perfect skin in a pan. I like to apply this with a damp beautyblender and it just sits on the skin so nicely. It has a natural finish to it which means for my dry skin I don't need to powder it and it still stays put all day long. To get a completely smooth finish you need to have really moisturized skin so I like to apply it straight after my skincare routine or apply a hydrating base first. I haven't tried many cream foundations before and have never really been a fan of them but this breaks the mold; it's basically magic. I have the refill size in this, but you can purchase it in the compact for the first time and then refill. I wear the shade silken and it's perfect for my warm tones light skin.

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Desired Glow- This cream blush has such a beautiful formula. Creamy but not slippy or or tacky in texture, it blends beautifully into the cheeks with just the warmth of your fingers. The shade Desired Glow is a really pretty coral tan color, it adds a nice glow to the cheeks with almost a little bit of bronzey-ness. If you love to do bronzed makeup then you need this blush it really ties everything in. The blush is also encased in the beautiful silver packaging with the KW logo.

Kjaer Weis Highlighter- I love me some highlight; a dewy glow is totally my thing and I especially love cream formulas as I find they blend in seamlessly and look as natural as could be. This highlight looks a little grey in the pan but when swatched it is a light silver toned highlight; a little different I know. It is easy to apply to the cheek bones with just a swipe of a finger and it blends like a dream. The only thing to be aware of that it does contain glitter, if you're not a fan of that in your highlight then maybe skip it, but personally I am in love! This refill is the same size as the blushes so you can refill your packaging easily.

Kjaer Weis Bronzer- Again this has an amazing formula that is really creamy and blends beautifully. The color is a really nice warm brown with a little bit of shimmer running through. Cream bronzers are great for adding that sunlit glow without looking unnatural with powders. It applies easily with fingers or a duo fiber brush and adds the perfect amount of color for pale skin. For dark skin I can imagine it would look great as a highlight. This refill also fits into the blush pans do you can mix and match each time you repurchase.

Raw Spirit is about re-connecting with ourselves, with each other, and with nature. It is about unleashing the energy that is within each of us.
Raw Spirit is the continuation of an incredible journey that began with our collaborative art project, Nomad Two Worlds, taking us all over the world, from the Australian outback, to the mountains of Haiti, to the Florida Everglades. It’s a brand born out of experiencing the unique spirits of some of the world’s oldest communities. Join us as the journey continues.
Unlock the Raw Spirit.

I've had the opportunity to try some of Raw Spirits fragrances over the past few weeks so today I am going to be giving you a little run down of them. Raw Spirit was inspired by a project from one of my favorite photographers Russel James. This project, Nomad Two Worlds explores the clash of ancient and modern cultures and celebrates communities around the world. The project is set to provide economic benefit while appreciating the worlds most threatened cultures. Raw Spirit sticks with this ethos by sustainably sourcing natural ingredients for their fragrances. They also actively seek opportunities to give back communities and aid in environmental preservation.

I have been trying out their Fragrance Sample Set which has five tiny vials of their Eau de Parfum's, you can purchase this set for $15 on their site, and it's a great way to find out what fragrance your going to fall in love with. If you want to skip this and just go with instinct I will be linking the full size perfume with each mini review too.

Citadelle- Is a clean refreshing fragrance inspired by Citadelle Laferriere, a mountain top in northern Hati. It symbolizes strength with notes like Haitian vetiver, marigold, cinnamon, lemon, bergamot, nutmeg, ceadarwood, and musk. It smells light and fresh while having an earthy musk to it. If I had something to compare it to I would say D&G Light Blue with a musky undertone. All of the fragrances are unisex and I think this would smell good on either a man  or a woman. Part of the proceeds also go Haitian agricultural projects.

Desert Blush- Is a warm, sophisticated, floral scent. Inspired by the western Australian desert at sunset, this heady scent features Australian sandalwood and a floral note of western Australia Boronia. This one is my personal favorite as I am a sucker for a good floral scent and believe it or not Australia is also the top of my travel bucket list, fate.  It's very deep and smells like evening if that makes sense. Although it is unisex I would say it leans more toward women. A part of Desert Blushes proceeds go to Indigenous Australian cultural projects.

Wild Fire- Is a dry, woody, sensual scent. Again inspired by western Australia, but this time the outback during intense summer heat. Australian sandalwood mixes with creamy amber and floral notes such as ylang ylang and jasmine to get this seductive scent. This really reminds me of Chanel No.5, a classic heady scent that symbolizes women like Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe. Again I think this is one that lends its self more to women and a part of the proceeds go to Indigenous Australian projects.

Winter Oak- Is a smooth, creamy, warming scent. Inspired by the oak-lined trails of California on cool winter mornings. This decadent fragrance has notes of aged American oak, suede, saffron, and musk. Part of the proceeds go to support Native American preservation projects. To me this is quite manly, it is a smell I would love in my house as a candle or diffuser but as a perfume not so much. It smells like oak trees which I love but maybe just not on myself. It kind of reminds me of Christmas even though that's pines.

Bijou Vert- Or Green Jewel is inspired by the island of Haiti once know as the 'Jewel of the Antilles'. It is a fresh fruity scent with some depth containing notes such as Haitian vetiver, grapefruit, mandarin, geranium, lotus flower, black pepper, patchouli, and cedarwood. To me this smells similar to Wild Fire but slightly more fruity and less heady, again I think it does lean more towards women but it would still smell good on a man. A part of the proceeds go to supports sustainable agriculture projects in Haiti.

I love the concept of Raw Spirit and I love that they are giving back to communities and cultures that are sadly diminishing all over the world. The fragrances are all very 'natural' smelling which I like, I have never been a fan of artificial scents. Also can we just appreciate how beautiful Behati Prinsloo looks in the photos! I think she is the perfect face to represent the brand. If you want to give back and smell amazing then these are the fragrances for you.

Will you be trying Raw Spirit Fragrances? Love...

Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Collection

Inspired by pearls the new Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Collection is full of subtly iridescent, and deep sea tones. The collection includes, powder shimmers, gel liners, new shades of lipsticks, as well as the two products I have been trying out the Cream Shadow Stylo, and Sunkissed Pearls Bronzer and Highlighter. The collection is seriously beautiful with champagne, pink, bronze, and teal tones. The formulations of the powder and the cream shadows are seriously nice too. I have the shade Blue Pearl in Cream Shadow Stylo, it is a really pretty blue teal full of shimmer. It is literally the color of the sea. It is a little out of my comfort zone as color on my eyes isn't really my thing but I have been wearing this as a liner and it adds a really nice summer pop. I am so excited to take this on my upcoming vacation as I think it will look beautiful paired with a nude lip for an evening out. The formulation is very nice, creamy and smooth to apply, and full of pigment. It also has great lasting power and really won't budge. The Sunkissed Pearls Bronzer and Highlighter powder is seriously buttery and smooth. I have the deeper shade so the highlight is more a blush highlight for me but the bronzer is perfect for a matte golden glow. The highlight part has a glitter overlay which makes it look a little scary but after the first swipe over it the overlay vanishes. The packaging is beautiful with a clear lid and frosted/pearl look white plastic. You also get a brush with this that isn't actually useless like a lot of other freebie brushes; it's soft and is great for placing the highlighter on the check bones. The highlight shade really isn't revolutionary in my book but I would say it's worth the purchase for the bronzer alone.

Have you tried anything from the new Elizabeth Arden Sunkissed Pearls Collection? Love...
