Superfcialist Vitamin C+

While home in England I really wanted to try some of Una Brennan's range Superfacialist. I am all about the dewy glowy skin so decided to try a few things from the Vitamin C+ range. Una Brenna is a top facialist with over 17 years experience all her products are made to fit a different skin types.

Superfacialist Vitamin C+ skin renew cleansing oil- This is a really amazing cleansing oil for the price of 10.99GBP. I really don't think there is any other cleansing oil quite like it in such a low price range, it is a cleanser that is supposed to be used in a two step method. I used this to remove all of my makeup including waterproof mascara and it works like a dream, you just massage it all over your face then just before you remove it add a splash of water and it turns into a milky consistency. Then I usually do a second cleanse with a gel or cream cleanser just to remove any lasting impurities. And did I mention the smell? The smell is beyond amazing, zingy and fresh like mandarins.

Superfacialist Vitamin C+ dark circles eye cream- Now you have heard me before bang on about my horrendous with capital H dark circles. I was really excited to try this as I thought it could be a cheaper alternative to the Origins ginzing eye cream. Coming in at 12.99GBP the price isn't bad if the product actually worked. For me I have found that it just hasn't done anything for my dark circles, it's nice and hydrating so I still use it in the hope that one morning a miracle will happen but I would say if you looking for something to rid those dark circles this is not it. It's not a bad eye cream but it just doesn't do what it says on the tin.

Superfacialist Vitamin C+ glow boost skin serum- This stuff makes me just want to go ahhh. At 15.99GBP were are kind of getting into mid priced skin care but boy is this good. Out of the three I tried this one is a clear winner. it just does something magical to my skin, when I first applied this it kind of reminded me of a lightweight version of make strobe cream. It gives a wonderful glow but its not just temporary like when you apply a glowy makeup base, the longer you use it the brighter you skin becomes. I now wake up and my skin isn't dull and ill looking. I use this once a day in the morning before my moisturizer and it just does wonders. I will be so sad when I run out, next time I am home I will be stocking up. One thing I would say is the orangey scent is quite strong but I personally love it.

All in all from what I have tried from the line I will defiantly be trying more next time I am home. If you live in Great Britain and are interested the whole Superfacialist Line is currently on 3for2 at Boots.
I am also going to link to the Superfacialist site HERE so you can read more about Una and her other products.

Winter Getaway

First off before I get into this post I just want to say I hope you all have had a great holiday season so far and are looking forward to the new year. Any way on to todays post, a few weeks ago now myself and my family went on holiday for my dad's 50th birthday to the Dominican Republic. We had an amazing week and the place is just so beautiful, and I wanted to share it's beauty with you so I thought I would share some photo's and a little about what we did and when we stayed.

From the moment the pilot pointed out the view I knew we were going to be in for an amazing week, I mean come on look at that ocean. (Excuse the iPhone 4's bad camera.)

I really didn't expect it to be as mountainous and green as it was but it sure was pretty.

We arrived to our hotel on the most beautiful afternoon so we went to the beach bar for a drink. Then we went to our rooms, which were gorgeous by the way and unpacked. Sadly I did take photos of our room but I can't seem to find them anywhere but I will be linking the hotel at the bottom of this so go and check it out.

We then enjoyed the most beautiful sunset.

There was a lot of wildlife around the hotel, and there also was ponds and shallow lakes in the lobby full of flamingos. If you follow me on instagram you might of seen the video of flamingos one night when we were at dinner.

So this day was my dads actual birthday so we spent it on the beach and then went for a lovely meal. Sadly I was really quite ill that day so I didn't enjoy it as much as everyone else. (Thank mother nature for that time of the month.)
P.S I am in love with these Steve Madden sandals.

We had a really great night and the staff in the restaurant sang happy birthday to my dad in true Dominican style with pots and pans and knives and forks.

They had some really pretty Christmas decorations to.

Sadly we had a stormy day and had to stay in the room but that wasn't all bad as I got a lot of relaxing done.  Also we went for a lovely lunch on the beach.

The day after the storm the beach was littered with so much seaweed it was incredible.

And then it came to our last full day, we spent the day on the beach at the pool and having a really good Italian meal. Oh and of course enjoyed one last sunset.
When it came to the afternoon we left I was so sad. I also wished I had taken some photos of the airport to share with you guys as it was so cute.

So just before I leave I will share about where we went. We stayed at The Reserve at Paradisus in Punta Cana. I would defiantly recommend staying there if you are looking to go to Punta Cana. The staff were very nice, the rooms were amazing and the location was beautiful.

Signature Fragrance- Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme

I think every woman should have a fragrance that they love and that they put on and instantly feel amazing, a signature scent. Don't get me wrong I love wearing different perfumes regularly but I do have one scent that will always be in my collection, and that is Dolce and Gabbana's Pour Femme. It has notes of  Neroli, Raspberry, Green Mandarin, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Guimauve, Vanilla, Heliotrope, Sandalwood which sound like it could be quite sweet but it really isn't. I love it especially for autumn and winter but really do wear it any time of year. It lasts really well on me and the bottle is nothing amazing but it is classic, simple and pretty. I would love to know your favorite scent...

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas XOXO

DIY Photo Collage

I know last DIY I said I hate DIY but when it comes to cute things like this I make an exception. My office/guest room walls were looking a little bear so I decided to put some pictures up. Naturally I went strait onto Pintrest to get some inspiration. Firstly I was going to order some digital prints of Etsy to print off my self but then I thought I would just take my favorite pictures off Pintrest and make one large photo collage.
To make this you will need:
A A3 sized or bigger photo frame
A selection of your favorite photo's, I have 11 but you can have more or less depending on the size of your frame and how big you want the photo's (my frame was A3 size).

I chose my photo's based on things I love, I have 3 photo's all based on Jo Malone (a little obsessed I know), a few photo's of peonies as their my favorite flower, a photo from my one of my favorite films Roman Holiday, some Manolo Blahnik shoes, and then just some pretty pictures. I also tried to keep all the photos in one color scheme as I think it looks more polished this way. I chose to keep all of mine in a pink, cream and white colors except the black and white picture but I quite like how that one stands out. Any way I am rambling on the whole point if this is to make it your own. I am going to link HERE to a Pintrest board with all the photo's I used and some other ones I like. If you make one your self I would love to see it, email me at nicola.darita1@gmail.com
