Let's just say I am rather well endowed in the brow department, it's a great thing now but back when I was in school and thin brows were all the rage I hated them. I still have a vivid memory of a boy I really liked teasing me about them and quite frankly it has scarred me for life. I don't know why I never picked up the tweezers and went to town on them (I think I didn't know where to begin) like pretty much everyone else but now I am so glad that I didn't. Bold brows are beautiful and I am now embracing them. Now saying all that my brows do still have their sparse areas and are not symmetrical in shape so I don't mind a little helping hand from a brown pencil now and again. Obviously for me I don't need anything heavy duty to fill so pomades and powders have always been out, I love a thin nibed pencil to get right in there and just draw actual brow hairs. I think using a pencil is the most natural method to filling your brows wether like me you naturally have a lot or you don't. If you are a frequent reader here you will already know how much I love It Cosmetics so naturally I had to try their Brow Power Super Skinny Brow Pencil. They come in seven shades and they really have thought about every shade from auburn to warm blonde and they are marketed to be universally flattering. In my usual high maintenance fashion I have two shades I like to use Medium Brown and Dark Brown for a bolder look. The nib is tiny, in fact it is said to be the width of an actual brow hair and you can precisely get the perfect fill and shape to your brows. I also love that it isn't too pigmented, so many brow pencils just offer to much and make your brows look false; this just adds the right amount pigment. The finish you get also lasts all day so you won't be loosing your brows half way through the morning. Really my point is love you natural features, don't let anyone put you down but it's also ok to enhance what you love. Love...
