Laura Mercier Silk Crème Moisturizing Foundation

I never really got on board with the original Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, I always found it a little heavy and paint like, but when they came out with two reformulations, specifically one for dry skin I knew I had to give it a go. The Silk Creme Moisturizing Foundation is described as a long wearing, moisturizing, but full coverage and radiant foundation. I want to put this out there first, the shades are so so, so you may not be able to find one to suit you perfectly. I wear Ivory and it's very yellow, for me thats fine as I am very warm toned but if your neutral and light to medium you may have some issues finding a color match. That aside I think it is a really great foundation. Out of products that lack on the market; full coverage, hydrating, dewy foundations are one. Usually you can get long wearing foundations but they are generally matte or satin in finish. I love that this has great coverage but still feels very moisturizing on he skin and has a dewy finish, making it perfect if your a dry skinned gal like me. It lasts really well, I am unsure about the 12 hours it claims but certainly a whole day out. Considering it has a medium to full coverage it doesn't look heavy or unnatural on the skin, and in fact because it has that dewiness it looks rather like just perfect skin. If you're looking for a full coverage foundation but are fed up with dry looking matte finishes then the new Moisturizing Silk Creme is one to try. Love...
