August Favorites 2015

I'm sorry to say this again but seriously can you believe it's September? I feel like I am going to be talking about Christmas collections soon and I have already cracked out the berry lip colors, Fall is officially coming! August has been a month of many favorites, especially makeup favorites. I have been trying out a lot of new products in the past few weeks as well so there is a good bunch of newbies.

It Cosmetics- This is a little different for me, I usually feature products in a favorites post but when I went to scout them out I realized that a good few were from It Cosmetics, and then I thought it's a bloomin' amazing brand so why not just make it a favorite. First of all I have been loving the CC+ Cream which I have written a full review on so go read that HERE to learn more. But basically it is great skin in a tube, it has a full-medium coverage with SPF 50 and a really pretty glowy finish. What more could you ask for. The Bye Bye Under Eye and Tightline have also been an everyday product for me over the past month. The concealer covers dark bags like you would not believe and the tightline mascara liner combo gives the lashes wonderful length and I am pretty certain it has also made my 'real' lashes a lot thicker and longer naturally. You can read a full review on those two HERE also!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter Pressed in Moonstone- Ahhh, this stuff I swear it's sent from heaven above. My favorite highlighter ever I think. The most pretty champagne color that can look full on or with a light hand suitable for daytime. Mine was delivered broken so I did get refunded but they told me they didn't want it sent back. I put my thinking cap on and squished it all back together with a tissue and the lid of a moisturizer, it now basically looks new. Winner!

Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt- I went on holiday this month and this is the fragrance I took with me. I have again a full post on it HERE but basically it smells like the sea side. When it's hot or I am lying by a beach I don't always want to smell to sweet or floral. This smells so fresh but summery all at the same time. Also if you want one fragrance for year round then this could be it, other than smelling like the sea it's not really seasonal.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer- The whole time I was away I pretty much just used this concealer as my base. I am very fortunate to have pretty good skin, especially when I have a little color to me so this and bronzer was all I needed. It really reminds me of the Clarins Instant Light Concealer, but obviously with a much lower price tag. It is really light in consistency but still manages to give a nice bit of coverage and never feels heavy or cakey. I actually wore this to the beach a few days and re applied sunscreen and powder over the top and it never went gunky or gross. If you want a light concealer or something really blend-able to wear by its self then this could be the ticket.

NUDE Advanced Renewal Serum- I am keeping quite tight lipped about this one for now as I will have a full review post up in the very near future but needless to say I love it! I can't quite put my finger on why, but I do. My skin seems to have more glow, feel more hydrated, and look more even. It's like all my favorite serums wrapped into one.

Marc Jacobs Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer in Pretty Thing- I have had the shade Pink Flamingo in a favorites before and this month it's been all about the shade Pretty Thing. I think I could go as far to say that these are my favorite glosses ever! The formula is so beautiful and creamy without being sticky but still having the lasting power and there is pigment in them but not so much that it's over powering for a gloss. The shade Pretty Thing is a perfect beige nude, I have been wearing by its self or over lipsticks. A favorite combo of mine is on top of the Burberry Kisses Lipstick in Nude Pink. So perfect.

Tell me your August Favorites in the comments. Love...
