Murad Skincare

I am a huge believer in taking care of your skin, I think if you look after your skin then everything else such as makeup falls in line. I think everyone wants great skin, it's not always possible but you can definitely take steps to improve your skin. Now skincare is such a individual thing, what works for me may not work for you and so on but by looking at what works for your skin type you can figure out what could work. In a way it's almost a bit of trial and error. I will be going more into different skin types in another post but just for a base, I have dry to normal, dull skin with a little redness in my cheeks.  

I had always wondered about Murad skincare when wondering around Sephora but had never got round to trying it, until now. Murad is such a family business with the creator Dr. Murad and his children being involved, I really love that as it think it feels almost 'authentic'. All of their skincare is full of great ingredients and they do products for practically every skin concern. As I talk you through my favorites just bear in mind my skin type and think whether they will work for you, saying that don't worry if they don't, as I said they do a ton of products dedicated to every skin issue and type.

Essential-C Cleanser- This cleanser is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins with a citrus burst making it perfect for the morning. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin and cleans well without striping the skin of moisture.

Hydrating Toner- This alcohol free toner re balances your skins natural pH levels and replenishes lost moisture. The light mist smells like peaches, and it's the perfect way to prepare your skin for your moisturizer or serum.

Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum- This serum is packed full of hyaluronic acid which my dry skin loves. It is made with sensitive skin in mind reducing redness, and hydrating without any irritation and while calming any irritation you do have.

Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture- This was featured in my July favorites, so if you read that you will already know my love for it. It is proven to lock in moisture for eight hours, and you can feel it. This rich cream is full of anti-aging ingredients that re-hydrates the skin restores it's resilience.

Skin Perfecting Lotion- This ultra-light moisturizer hydrates while reducing the appearance of pores, refining texture and reducing redness. It's so light that it is great for acne prone dehydrate skin. I love this for my skin when it's more on the combination side of things.

Essential-C Day Moisture- This moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 30 is a perfect way to get your does of SPF in. It protects your skin from sun and free radical damage, as well as improving skins radiance and elasticity.

Renewing Eye Cream- I get very dry under eyes with horrible dark circles so an eye cream is imperative in my routine. This eye cream minimizes dark circles, depuffs, hydrates making it a perfect all in one eye treatment.
