Colourpop Lippie Stix Sheer

If you're frequent rounds these parts then you will probably all ready know my love for Colourpop Cosmetics. They make incredible products at amazing prices and I can't seem to stop making orders from them. So naturally I had to order their Lippie Stix in the new sheer formula when they launched. I managed to restrain myself slightly and only buy five but I can say all ready I will be back for the rest. The new sheer formula have a lighter and more moisturizing feel that the other finishes because of added organic coconut oil and vitamin E and add a good amount of color with a little gloss. I think Tiger is my favorite, it is a beautiful rich plum purple that can be worn as a flush or built up to full pigment; it's making me dream of Fall. BYOB is the perfect cool toned bright pink that I am going to be wearing all Summer long, again it has more pigment that I thought it would and it can be built up well. Safari is a really unusual color and one I wasn't sure would suit me as corals and oranges can wash me out but it looks really nice on the lips. It is a true orange but some how because it's sheer it doesn't make me look ill or look odd having orange lips. Crunch is a nice natural peachy nude, again a shade that usually doesn't look good on me but this one really does, it feels so good to be finally able to pull off peach with these. Bear in mind it's not as bright as it looks on the site, it is more on the light peach nude side of things. Lastly I got Peacocky which is a classic blue red that can be built up to be bold and bright, or worn sheerly it looks like a raspberry red and is perfect for those of us who are scared of reds, especially for daytime wear. If you fear wearing such a statement color in the day but really want to then this is a great lipstick to go for. It may need some touching up throughout the day but it's an easy to wear color. The feel and formula of them all is lovely and I was really surprised by the amount of color I got from them, they may be classed as sheer but you can really pack on the pigment. They leave your lips feeling hydrated and are very comfortable to wear, just like a balm. Over all I would say they are a huge success and can't wait to try more shades.
